Overtime Pay Formula

OT Hours = Total Hours − Regular Hours
OT Pay = OT Hours × Hourly Rate × Multiplier
Total Pay = (Regular Hours × Rate) + OT Pay
Example: 48 hours worked, 40 regular, $25/hr, 1.5× OT.
OT = 8 hours × $25 × 1.5 = $300
Total = (40 × $25) + $300 = $1,000 + $300 = $1,300
