Rhombus Area Calculator
Calculate the area of a rhombus using diagonals or base and height. Also finds perimeter and angles.
Enter diagonals OR base and height.
Enter dimensions.
Rhombus Area Formulas
Area = (d₁ × d₂) / 2 (using diagonals)
Area = base × height (using side and height)
Area = base × height (using side and height)
Example: Diagonals: 8 and 6
Area = (8 × 6) / 2 = 24 sq units
Area = (8 × 6) / 2 = 24 sq units
Properties of a Rhombus
- All four sides are equal.
- Opposite angles are equal.
- Diagonals bisect each other at right angles.
- A square is a special rhombus with all right angles.
