What if the trapezoid is isosceles?
An isosceles trapezoid has equal non-parallel sides. The area formula is the same, but you can also find the height using the Pythagorean theorem.
Is a rectangle a trapezoid?
Yes, by the inclusive definition (at least one pair of parallel sides). A rectangle is a special trapezoid where both pairs of sides are parallel.
